Masardis

Welcome to Masardis!

Madawaska Moose

The small town of Masardis was first settled in the 1830’s and incorporated in 1839. With its strategic location at the confluence of the St. Croix and Aroostook Rivers, Masardis was an important base for American soldiers during the bloodless, so-called Aroostook War. Since then, the town has flourished thanks to the lumber industry and its prime location for hunters, fishers, and other vacationers looking to get out into Northern Maine’s vast wilderness.
