Note – we put some scheduled times in here just to give you some ideas. You can pick and choose what you want to do. Be sure to look at when they are open and if there are any COVID restrictions. In fact, it would probably be a good idea to call any that you plan to visit just to be on the safe side.

Day 1
8:30 am: Start your day with a breakfast at Water Street Inn B&B

3:30 pm: Quoddy State Park Lighthouse

Make sure you SEAze the day when you arrive at the Quoddy State Park. From a gorgeous view of the lighthouse to taking a stroll along the shore; this place is the perfect option for your last seaside stop before dinner!

Day 3

11:00 am Tidal Falls
After eating breakfast at the Inn; walk the short distance to see these beautiful falls that encompass many trails you can take to walk along the water!

3:00 pm (Shopping): Take time to stroll around Jonesport with varying places such as Angel Babies Reborn and Craft Shop, Barney’s Cove Lobster Company to end your experience in Jonesport!
5:00pm (dinner): Return back to the Ironbound Inn and Restaurant to have dinner with a view. Not only will you be able to have dinner, but you can also relax in the comfort of your ending destination.

Day 2
9:00 am Check-out and start the next day heading to Little River Lighthouse

“Little River was the third lighthouse in the U.S. and the first of New England, leaving it to be the one of the oldest standing today!” Enjoy the Cutler Bay views while walking along the island for the perfect seaside experience.
11:00 am: Helen’s Restaurant

DownEast Maine is famous for the taste of the sea. Get the full experience here! This beautiful family restaurant gives you all of those options and more! (About 25 minutes travel time from Little River Lighthouse via Rte. 1).
1:30 pm: Coastal Cruises Downeast Maine
Take U.S. 1 to Maine Route 187. Follow Route 187 south into Jonesport. All cruises depart from the Jonesport Town Marina on Sawyer Square. Call (207) 598-7473 for inquiries.

The weather in Maine can be unpredictable. Therefore, here are some ideas to be prepared. Wear comfortable clothes and dress in layers, Maine is very casual, so you probably will not find any restaurants that require formal attire.
Spring/Summer/Fall: clothes, comfortable sneakers or hiking shoes for walking, sun hat, sunscreen, sweater or jacket, insect repellent, toiletries, and phone/camera
Winter: clothes (layers), ski pants highly recommended, winter boots, jacket, hats, scarves, gloves, warm socks, toiletries, and phone/camera. Please pack a helmet if you are participating in snowmobiling, skiing, or snowboarding.
