Information about the UMaine Student Symposium project evaluation criteria: Judging Rubric (PDF)
The UMaine Student Symposium is an event that consists of student research presentations that will be judged by faculty, alumni, community members, and industry professionals. The Symposium serves as a forum for research centers and future employers to market their needs to students, as well as providing professional development opportunities.
The Student Symposium allows students to converse and share ideas with legislators, professionals and community leaders. To facilitate these interactions, representatives from State government, industry, research institutions, and local community groups have been invited to attend and engage with UMaine student presenters.
We are currently seeking judges for the 2020 UMaine Student Symposium. If you wish to be considered for judging student presentation, visit the UMSS2020 sign up sheet for judges.
