Paige Allen

Paige Allen is a senior Sociology and Honors student with minors in Legal Studies, Ethics & Political Philosophy, and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Before serving as Vice President of Financial Affairs, Paige was a senator for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and had a brief stint as an Assistant Vice President of Student Entertainment. Paige’s favorite part of her current role in Student Government is helping student leaders and clubs obtain funding to enrich their experiences at UMaine. As Vice President of Financial Affairs, Paige processes funding requests, meets with students, runs the Executive Budgetary Committee, and advises the General Student Senate on UMSG’s Financial Policies. Outside of UMSG, Paige is the President of PreLaw Society, a member of All Maine Women, a researcher in UMaine’s Parenting Relationships Research Lab, and a part of the Club Field Hockey team. She is currently working on her Honors Thesis with a fellowship from the McGillicuddy Humanities Center, focusing on the intersection between ambitious women and their decisions/circumstances on having kids.
