Club Field Hockey offers all students at UMaine an opportunity to play competitive field hockey at a lower commitment level than division 1. During our regular season, typically September – November, we practice 3-4 times a week. We schedule roughly 4-5 trips to various schools in the greater New England area where we play at least 1 game, but often more in the form of Round Robins and Tournaments. During the Spring semester, we tend to practice just a few times a week indoors, and play 1-2 games late in the semester. We do not have tryouts – all students are welcome, undergraduate and graduate.
