Club Spotlight: International Students Association

The featured UMSG Club this week is International Students Association (ISA)!

 

“Personally, I would say in my mind we are not just an organization, but we are also friends who hang out and help out outside the organization. We make sure everyone know each other and figure out the best for the organization. We try to make all events improve every time because we believe the quality event of matters for all the students.”

Some of the events ISA hosts include: Coffee Hour, Figure Skating, Summer BBQ which we have during summer and gather everyone together to have a great BBQ food and We also provide paddle boards and Volleyball from Maine bound.  Small group of event for the current members 20 or more are usually gather to go Apple Picking, Acadia, Bowling, Cinema and dinner together.

“As as title said I am the President of International Student Association, my biggest goal would be making sure all International Students to feel that UMaine is their home and engage International Students with Domestic student in campus. We might not able to make everyone happy, but we would love to make the most people happy with our events and effort.”
