Timothy Durling

Tim Durling is a downeast Maine native who has lived in Florida since 2004. Tim’s primary adult career has been in corporate IT management. A few years ago when midlife presented a calling to give back to the world in a way that doesn’t exist in the corporate arena, he entered the field of education. In parallel with taking college courses required to secure permanent teacher certification, he enrolled in a coaching school approved by the International Coaching Federation. Today he works as a certified teacher, career specialist, and life coach in the greater Tampa Bay area. As he continues his own journey of life-long learning, he enjoys teaching and coaching teenagers. He believes strongly that positively influencing the next generation of people who will take charge of our society is one of the most important missions we can offer ourselves to. In his spare time, he loves to read, enjoy the Florida sunshine, volunteer in the community, and spend summers in his northeast homeland of Maine.
