UMaine Telepractice Program Highlighted at ASHA 2017 Convention
The UMaine Speech Therapy Telepractice Program was invited to give a presentation about graduate student telepractice training programs at the ASHA 2017 Convention in November. The UMaine program was highlighted as one of the first in the country to offer telepractice training. The UMaine telepractice team will also present on telepractice aphasia communication group research and will be joined by the Aphasia Center of Maine to co-present on an experiential learning opportunity for UMaine graduate students at the annual Andre R. Hemond Aphasia Retreat that is hosted by the Aphasia Center of Maine.
