Prospective members and guests,

Welcome to the Order of Omega.

Hearty Maine Hello from the Zeta Kappa Chapter of Order of Omega at the University of Maine! Order of Omega is a Greek Honor Society that prides itself on academic achievement, integrity, and community leadership. If you are a prospective new member, alumni, or current member, I welcome you to this page!

Our goal as members of Order of Omega is to recognize those fraternity men and women who have attained a high standard of leadership in interfraternity activities, to encourage them to continue along this line, and to inspire others to strive for similar conspicuous attainment. As an organization we also reach out to unite outstanding fraternity men and women to create an organization which will help to mold the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate fraternity affairs and to bring together members of the faculty, alumni, and student members of the institution’s fraternities and sororities on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness. Overall our goal is to help create an atmosphere where ideas and issues can be discussed openly across Greek lines and to help work out solutions as well as provide ways to improve the overall Greek experience here at the University of Maine.

Prospective members must be of Junior standing (60 credits), maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA, be involved in their chapter, Greek Life, campus, and in the community, accompanied with a short application.

It has been a wonderful opportunity to serve as the 2016-2017 Chapter President for the Zeta Kappa chapter at the University of Maine. I challenge anyone who checks this page to serve as leaders of the University of Maine community. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Meredith Torrey via First Class.

To the College of Our Hearts Always,

Cassidy Bigos

Zeta Kappa Chapter President
