Artist Statement<\/h3>\n

As climate change intensifies, my work increasingly focuses on how humans and the world around us are impacted by wind, water, and other forces of nature. Sometimes, I make images of the new extremes we are all experiencing. Other times, images like this one show more serene moments. I took this picture in Harpswell last November. Seaweed sways just below the water\u2019s surface on a slack tide, illuminated by a low midday sun.<\/span><\/p>\n
