Artist Statement <\/h3>\n

My sister is my constant reminder for why I make art. She once said, \u201cArt is meant to represent how the artist sees the world,\u201d and ever since, I have been on a quest to discover my true artistic style and translate my unique perspectives through my artwork.<\/p>\n

Titled “The Pulse of the Future is in Mother Nature,” this piece embodies the essential role of nature in sustaining our human world. It symbolizes the interconnectedness of all living beings and the wisdom found in the teachings of Mother Nature.<\/p>\n

In this artwork, I sought to capture the sense of peace that many of us find in nature, while also exploring the perpetual process of reconnecting with our roots. Trees, blasted with lightning strikes and battered by winter\u2019s harsh cold, are symbols of strength. They are a reminder of our connection to the natural world and our place within it.<\/p>\n

A silver maple seed is nestled at the core of the image, a nod to the seed\u2019s symbolic representation as nature\u2019s enduring pulse. Just as it takes a village to raise a child\u2014the wind, animals, rain, sun, and soil collectively nurture seeds as they continue along their long, difficult journey.<\/p>\n

In this piece, I chose to feature trees not only for their physical strength but also for their role as key regulators in forests and home gardens. Trees depend on other species and their surroundings to thrive throughout the year; they remind us that we need each other. We all have something to offer one another, and by learning to rely on others, we can create a supportive community. I hope this piece evokes an appreciation for the beauty of our natural world and serves as a means for others to reflect on their own feelings and connections with nature and that over time, people will learn to live as a collective village and understand that by caring for the earth, it will reciprocate our efforts tenfold.<\/p>\n
