From the Riverbed<\/h3>\n

If you did not hear me
\nCrying out against time,
\nCome to this shady stream side.<\/p>\n

If you never saw me
\nThrow sand against wind,
\nStand by this mound of stone.<\/p>\n

And if you never found me
\nFighting my one barren battle,
\nReach and pick fruit from my tree.<\/p>\n

In this kind curse you are given,
\nOver lands still paled by our scars,<\/p>\n

Hear the passion that ceaselessly screams.
\nFind rebellious fire
\nIn the hearth of desire
\nAnd the song to lull you to sleep.<\/p>\n

Still know all the while
\nThat their words are but whispers;<\/p>\n

Murmurs of stones
\nPlucked and returned
\nTo the riverbed.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\n

The Sculptors<\/h3>\n

The ones who mold the forest
\nHide in cool shaded brooks,
\nAnd under rich humus blankets.<\/p>\n

Mute creatures of patience
\nLeave the dead where they lay,
\nAnd with enduring alchemy transmute.<\/p>\n

The unending shift
\nOf this to that,
\nOf one to another.<\/p>\n
