Big Love, by Charles Mee, tells the story of fifty brides who flee to Italy to avoid marrying their fifty cousins. A dark drama-comedy, Mee’s play takes the plot of the greek classic, The Suppliants, and sets it in modern time. The show challenges the audience as the characters raise issues of gender politics, love, and domestic violence.
Directed by Tom Mikotowicz.
