M.S. Financial Economics

Our Master’s of Science (M.S.) in Financial Economics program integrates our core economics courses with additional offerings from the Maine Business School. This is a great program for students seeking a solid foundation in microeconomic and macroeconomic theory and financial management and looking to develop a strong understanding of the role of financial markets and institutions within the economy. Graduates excel in employment in the financial services sector in positions requiring advanced analytical skills and in-depth familiarity with the structure and functioning of financial markets and institutions. Check out a sample schedule for this program here.

International students: This M.S. program is considered “Econometrics and Quantitative Economics” for the STEM Extension of the Optional Practical Training Program.
