Hobbs continues to research affordable housing policy issues

Dr. Kelsi Hobbs, Assistant Professor in the School of Economics, continues to advance her research program on housing evictions and affordable housing. She has multiple active research projects focused on housing evictions and the impacts of public policies, such as unemployment insurance, on housing evictions. During a recent tour of The Advanced Structures and Composite Center’s BioHome3D, she viewed the innovative housing solutions being advanced at UMaine and had an opportunity to engage with staff and researchers about these solutions. As Dr. Hobbs explores challenges and opportunities related to affordable housing, she welcomes collaborations with other scholars within and beyond UMaine.
