SOE invited Penobscot Nation Ambassador Maulian Dana
SOE’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee invited Ambassador Maulian Dana’s to discuss her background in indigenous activism and how that informs her career in advocacy and policy for her tribe. This event honors Native American Heritage month by providing an opportunity for SOE students and faculty to learn more about the indigenous people upon whose land our University now rests and their ongoing work to achieve equity and justice. These equity and justice issues faced by indigenous people and other underrepresented groups is crucial to understanding economic problems and how to help solve them.
