Jonathan Rubin contributes to report on accelerating decarbonization in the US transportation sector

Jonathan Rubin, SOE Professor and Director of the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center, contributed to a recently issued report outlining America’s Zero Carbon Action Plan (ZCAP). Prepared as part of the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Solutions Network’s (SDSN) Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project, ZCAP outlines a framework for decarbonizing six key US sectors, including power, transport, industry, buildings, food and land use, and materials. Rubin contributed to the chapter on the transportation sector which was led by Daniel Sperling (University of California, Davis), Lew Fulton (University of California, Davis), and Vicki Arroyo (Georgetown Climate Center, Georgetown University), with contributions from Jonathan as well as Lisa Aultman-Hall (University of Vermont), Austin Brown (University of California, Davis), Matthew Goetz (Georgetown Climate Center), and Robert B.
