El sent us a sampling of photos from travels that have taken her on some wonderful adventures. Here are views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Here are two pictures from her trip to Africa where she volunteered with an organization called Flying KitesFlyingKites_OrphanageFlyKites_Orphanage. Flying Kites offers education and other programming for vulnerable children in Kenya.  They have built a Primary School and Home for children who would otherwise have nowhere to turn in the Aberdares Mountains of Kenya.

El and her sister Hannah have a business, E&H Creations, based in Portland, Maine. They bill themselves as a “Sister duo from Maine. One of us is a documentary photographer and the other is a graphic designer. Together we specialize in creative consulting, branding love, wedding stationary, lifestyle photography & all things creative.” They have a very active web presence at eandhcreates.com where El is the photographer and Hannah is the designer. She is also freelancing and writing for Food Farm & Connecticut, a magazine dedicated to telling stories of the local food movement and the people behind it.

Below is a collage from her street portrait project in Portland, Maine, a project she did while attending SALT.
