Family Services Coordinator positions currently available in Fairfield and Anson/Solon areas.  KVCAP is dedicated to improving and strengthening the lives and welfare of the children, youth and families of Kennebec and Somerset counties.By becoming one of our Family Services Coordinators you will make a difference in the lives of our children and their families! Through partnerships with parents of young children you will be strengthening: parent-child relationships; family health outcomes; financial stability; employment and education pathways; social connections; and leadership and advocacy skills. Tasks include providing support and family engagement mentoring to multiple classrooms; implementing outreach and recruitment strategies; and supporting families in the enrollment process. Requirements Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in field related to Human/Social Services or Early Care & Education. LSW preferred. Experience working with families with young children required. Must demonstrate strong skills in interpersonal work, written and verbal communication, documentation, critical thinking, proficient computer skills, group management skills, and awareness of community resources. Must be able to meet requirements of agency and state child care licensing regulations for background checks, fingerprinting and physical exams. Must hold a valid driver’s license and have use of a vehicle insured to state of Maine requirements, able to travel within two counties, and adjust to a flexible schedule.
