picture<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The online hybrid program consists of 63 semester credit hours, and students complete the program in three years. Students are only admitted in the Fall of each year as a cohort. Students will enjoy courses taught by the same faculty who teach in the other MSW formats offered by our flagship university.<\/p>\n Using state-of-the-art learning management systems, students will engage in most classes without the need to be online at a particular day or time. These asynchronous classes will be supplemented with some “synchronous” class meetings and in-person meetings. This means that you and your classmates meet together online in class using a webcam and microphone on your computer, as you would in traditional class meetings. A few real-time courses for learning that requires live interaction with other students will also be taught during the field practicum seminar. To enhance student-faculty interaction, classes will meet live at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast for two Saturdays per semester.<\/p>\n The field practicum may be completed at qualifying organizations geographically convenient to students.<\/p>\n Online-Hybrid MSW students are eligible for financial aid programs if they enroll in at least 6 credits.<\/p>\n Applications are now being accepted for the Online-Hybrid MSW program, and students should apply using the University of Maine Graduate School’s online application<\/a>.
