The <\/span>Outdoor Sculpture Tour<\/b> is a sampling of UMaine’s many works of art. Because the sculptures on the tour can be found all around campus, you may want to drive to some of them. A few are available in pedestrian-only locations. Actually, a great deal of enjoyment can come by getting “up close and personal” with the pieces; so park when you can and enjoy time with the sculptures.<\/span><\/p>\n

This tour is not inclusive of all outdoor artwork on campus but instead provides a sampling that represents different sculpture styles and motifs, different histories, different artists, and different types of funding. With the exception of the first sculpture described, the outdoor artwork at the Buchanan Alumni House is not included in this tour.<\/span><\/p>\n
