Research Interests: Paul is a Postdoc in the Virtual Environment and Multimodal Interaction (VEMI) Lab. Prior to moving to Maine, Paul worked for U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders supporting constituents throughout Vermont. He earned his Master’s of Education from the University of Maine in 2017 before coordinating the assessment of the University’s five-year strategic plan under the direction of the Provost. In 2023, Paul earned a Ph.D. in Spatial Information Science and Engineering with his research intersecting technology education, user experience, and accessibility. His current focus is on designing a virtual learning platform and simulator to advance fully autonomous vehicle research.
