At UMaine we offer a variety of diver training from open water certification in the Spring semester to our Introduction to Research Diving in the Summer and Fall. Through SMS 324: Introduction to Research Diving, students have the opportunity to earn the following certifications; Advanced Open Water (PADI) Rescue
