The RIBHPC\nProfessional Development Workshop Series offers continuing educational\nworkshops covering topics and skills in integrated behavioral health with a\nfocus on rural practice. The semi-annual workshops are available to health care\nprofessionals at partner institutions as well as faculty and students from the\ntwo graduate programs. Topics will include mental health screening and\nassessment in primary care, trauma-informed primary care, trauma-focused\ncognitive behavior therapy, telehealth in rural primary care and other\nevidence-based approaches to behavioral healthcare. The workshop series will utilize a hybrid approach of live and\ndistance learning pedagogies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All RIBHPC\npartner institutions are eligible to have a representative serve on the RIBHPC\nProfessional Development Workshop Series Steering Committee. Current members\ninclude:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
