{"id":17,"date":"2021-07-30T11:22:58","date_gmt":"2021-07-30T15:22:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/ruralhealth\/?page_id=17"},"modified":"2021-07-30T11:22:59","modified_gmt":"2021-07-30T15:22:59","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/ruralhealth\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>University\nof Maine\u2019s <strong>Rural Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care&nbsp; (RIBPHC)<\/strong> program was created with a grant\nfrom the <strong>US Health Resources and Services Administration<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrsa.gov\/\">HRSA<\/a>) through its <em>Behavioral\nHealthcare Workforce Education and Training<\/em> grant program (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrsa.gov\/grants\/find-funding\/hrsa-21-089\">BHWET<\/a>). A collaboration between the\nSchool of Social Work and the Department of Psychology, the program builds on\nthe strengths of two of UMaine\u2019s established professional graduate programs:\nthe Masters of Social Work and the Doctoral Training Program in Clinical\nPsychology. Both programs are accredited by their respective national\nassociations and have strong records of graduating high quality clinicians and\nscientists. Over the four-year life cycle of the grant, RIBHPC will<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>support 80 MSW and 7 Clinical\nPsychology PhD students <ul><li>20 MSW students per year<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>1 PhD in year one and 2 per year in\nyears 2 through 4<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>develop one graduate course \u2013 <em>Advanced\nSeminar in Integrated Behavioral Healthcare<\/em><\/li><li>offer eight continuing professional\neducation through a series of workshops offered semi-annually<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>University of Maine\u2019s Rural Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care&nbsp; (RIBPHC) program was created with a grant from the US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) through its Behavioral Healthcare Workforce Education and Training grant program (BHWET).
