What Questions Are on the Minds of STEM Undergraduate Students and How Can They Be Addressed?

RiSE Center faculty, staff, FIG-MLA faculty, and other UMaine faculty across STEM disciplines contributed to an article recently published in Frontiers in Education. This work was part of a multi-institutional grant from the Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE) program at the NSF, awarded to PI MacKenzie Stetzer (Associate Professor of Physics and RiSE Faculty member). The project aimed to provide Faculty Learning Community opportunities for faculty of first-year STEM courses to better understand/support students’ transition from high school to college.
