To address the challenges presented by disposable food packaging, researchers at the University of Maine worked with three communities to launch ReuseME, a pilot project designed to explore the potential for reusable food packaging systems in Maine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ReuseME is partnered with three coastal Maine communities that have identified waste reduction as a goal in their municipal climate action plans: Bar Harbor<\/strong><\/a>, Bath<\/strong><\/a>, and South Portland<\/strong><\/a>. For more information on participating restaurants and local partners, navigate to each community page by clicking the name or explore our pilot community map below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
