The website is a “volunteer driven, grassroots effort designed in community for community as a resource to support parents and teachers while school is not in session due to COVID-19.” It provides live learning sessions in science, literacy, and the arts for all ages, as well as providing curricular and mental health supports for both parents and teachers as they juggle the challenges of remote learning. Faculty in the UMaine COEHD have volunteered to provide sessions on parent mental health, supporting students with special needs, and supporting teachers facing technological challenges in remote teaching, among others.<\/p>\n The UMaine Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies has compiled disability-specific COVID-19 resources<\/a><\/p>\n Fogler Library to archive UMaine experiences during COVID-19 pandemic<\/a><\/p>\n Chat series to offer at-risk residents tips to stay healthy<\/a>, April\u00a06<\/p>\n Fogler Library’s Reference Department has created\u00a0a guide with a collection of online resources for K-12 families, students, and teachers<\/a>.
