Research and innovation
At the University of Maine, we have been addressing the challenges of the pandemic with innovation and vision, flexibility and compassion, leadership and partnership. It’s what the state’s research university does every day, and especially in times of greatest need. Since the start of the pandemic, UMaine researchers across multiple disciplines have been working to develop solutions to help protect public health, rebuild the economy and contribute to the greater good in Maine and beyond.
