Internal data collections are most often used to change\/improve a campus service. Examples include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Surveys of dining preferences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluations of student satisfaction for accreditation reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exit surveys for graduates or employees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Surveys to determine residence hall programming needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If an internal institutional data collection follows the examples and purpose stated above (i.e., to change\/improve a campus service), IRB review is not required.
