Updated Policies and Procedures for Financial Disclosures and Conflicts of Interest in Extramurally Sponsored Activities – April 2018

Dear Colleagues,

The Policies and Procedures for Financial Disclosures and Conflicts of Interest in Extramurally Sponsored Activities have been recently updated.  The changes reflect the recent restructuring of the research offices under the domain of the Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate School.

As a reminder, the policy outlines the obligations of University personnel to disclose significant financial interests and the responsibility of the University to review such information and take appropriate steps to manage, reduce, or eliminate related conflicts.  This policy applies to all University employees and students who serve as investigators in proposals submitted to external sponsors.

The updated Policies and Procedures for Financial Disclosures and Conflicts of Interest in Extramurally Sponsored Activities  are found under ‘Conflict of Interest’ on the Office of Research Compliance website.

Sincerely,
Kody Varahramyan
Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate School
