Requirements for a Minor in Psychology

Any 18 credits of psychology (PSY) courses constitute a minor in psychology. A minimum grade of “C-“ must be obtained in each course used to satisfy the minor.  No more than 6 credits (combined) of PSY 492 Problems in Psychology and PSY 493 Field Experience may be used toward the 18 required credits.  A minimum of 9 of the 18 psychology credits must be taken at the University of Maine.  All transfer courses applied to the minor must be approved by the Department of Psychology.
