Since joining the university in 2002 as a Research Associate in the College of Education and Human Development, Deb has played various roles on campus. In 2010, she transitioned to the Office of Institutional Research while completing her Interdisciplinary Ph.D. After earning her doctorate, she rose to the position of Associate Director and was later named Assistant Provost in 2019. In this role, she successfully led the merger of the Institutional Research and Assessment offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under her leadership, OIRA has achieved several institutional milestones, including: Developing a new general education assessment process, expanding program assessment to include graduate-level programs, transitioning to fully online student evaluations of teaching, launching interactive PowerBI dashboards for better data accessibility,&nbsp;and assessing the UMS TRANSFORMS Student Success and Retention initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally from Saratoga Springs, New York, Deb holds degrees from the College of St. Rose, Bentley University, and the University of Maine.
