The goal of administration and faculty is to ensure that students are aware of and have access to the statements electronically or in hard copy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>Sexual Discrimination Reporting<\/strong>, one of the two versions below must be present in the syllabus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-accordion ugb-accordion ugb-8db6ab9 ugb-accordion--v2 ugb-accordion--design-basic ugb-main-block\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><div class=\"ugb-accordion__item\"><div class=\"ugb-accordion__heading\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\"><h4 class=\"ugb-accordion__title\">Academic Honesty Statement<\/h4><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewBox=\"0 0 20 20\" class=\"ugb-accordion__arrow\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\"><path d=\"M16.7 3.3L10 10 3.3 3.4 0 6.7l10 10v-.1l10-9.9z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"ugb-accordion__content\" role=\"region\"><div class=\"ugb-accordion__content-inner\">\n<p><strong>Academic Honesty Statement:<\/strong>&nbsp;Academic honesty is very important. It is dishonest to cheat on exams, to copy term papers, to submit papers written by another person, or generated by software or systems without the explicit approval of the instructor, to fake experimental results, or to copy or reword parts of books or articles into your own papers without appropriately citing the source. Students committing or aiding in any of these violations may be given failing grades for an assignment or for an entire course, at the discretion of the instructor. If they provide adequate notice (at least one week and longer if at all possible), these students are allowed to make up course requirements as long as this effort does not create an unreasonable burden upon the instructor, department or University.&nbsp;At the discretion of the instructor, such coursework could be due before or after the examination or assignment. No adverse or prejudicial effects shall result to a student\u2019s grade for the examination, study, or course requirement on the day of religious observance. Because of this commitment, if you tell any of your teachers about sexual discrimination involving members of the campus,&nbsp;<strong>your teacher is required to report<\/strong>&nbsp;this information to Title IX Student Services or the Office of Equal Opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behaviors that can be \u201csexual discrimination\u201d include sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, relationship abuse (dating violence and domestic violence), sexual misconduct, and gender discrimination.&nbsp; Therefore, all of these behaviors must be reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why do teachers have to report sexual discrimination?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The university can better support students in trouble if we know about what is happening.
