Shaleen Jain is Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs at the University of Maine and the University of Maine at Machias. He is also Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Co-Director of the Maine Water Resources Research Institute. Previously, he chaired the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Maine College of Engineering and Computing. Dr. Jain serves as a program evaluator for the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. His research focuses on water resources sustainability, hydroclimatology, environmental data analytics, machine learning applications, decision and risk analysis, and infrastructure resilience.
