This week’s headline on an America East news release says it all: “Maine Captures Academic Cup as AE Student-Athletes Shatter GPA Record.” For the third time, University of Maine student-athletes have brought home the America East Walter Harrison Academic Cup, presented annually to the institution whose student-athletes post the highest grade-point average during the academic year.
