At the University of Maine, event forms are required a minimum of 30 days prior to events expected to attract 50 or more participants. Student-organized events are managed by the Division of Student Life<\/a>. Non-university organization events are coordinated by Events and Hospitality<\/a>. Policies regarding security and safety for University of Maine events are online<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check your proposed event dates and times against scheduled events listed in the UMaine calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For events of 50 or more participants, or those including fire pits, fireworks, or alcohol license, contact Events & Hospitality at events.hospitality@maine.edu<\/a>. Notification should be at least 30 days in advance of the event.\u00a0 Some events may require additional insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For events without conferences and services, submit event information to the UMaine calendar<\/a>. If you cancel your event, notify UMaine calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n
