Click <a href=\"http:\/\/perlnet.umaine.edu\/workshops\/waveworkshops.htm\">here<\/a> for more information on workshops, and <a href=\"http:\/\/perlnet.umaine.edu\/abt\/\">here<\/a> for more information on curricular materials.<\/p>\n<h3>Activity-Based Tutorials: Modern Physics<\/h3>\n<p>Materials related to the Activity-Based Tutorials Volume 2: Modern Physics. These materials and workshops have been run in conjunction with the University of Maryland and the City College of New York. Click <a href=\"http:\/\/perlnet.umaine.edu\/workshops\/qmworkshops.htm\">here<\/a> for more information on the workshops and <a href=\"http:\/\/perlnet.umaine.edu\/abt\/\">here<\/a> for more information on the curricular materials.<\/p>\n<h3>Intermediate Mechanics Tutorials<\/h3>\n<p>Teaching non-science majors about wave physics and the basic concepts of quantum physics (including a graphical representation of the Schr\u00f6dinger Equation that allows for finite square well bound states, spectroscopy, and tunneling). <a href=\"http:\/\/perlnet.umaine.edu\/iqp\/\">Curriculum materials and workshops.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Intuitive Quantum Physics<\/h3>\n<p>Teaching intermediate mechanics (mostly Newtonian, some Lagrangian) using tutorials, small-group instructional materials. <a href=\"http:\/\/perlnet.umaine.edu\/imt\/\">Curriculum materials and workshops.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><ins datetime=\"2009-09-27T01:33:44+00:00\"><\/ins><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sharing our results with other researchers and educators is central\u00a0to the mission of the UMaine PER Lab.
