PDC welcomes new Director

Colleen worked for TAPPI as their Technical Director since 2008 and was previously with the Center for Paper Business and Industry Studies (CPBIS) in Atlanta, Georgia.  Her industrial work includes time spent with WestRock (previously Westvaco in Charleston, SC), Caraustar Industries, ABB, Union Camp and Metsa Serla.  We are excited to have someone with her background in the paper industry, domestically and internationally.

Colleen received her BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and her MS from the Institute of Paper Chemistry (Appleton, WI) and her PhD from IPST (Atlanta, GA).  She has authored many articles and peer reviewed papers dealing with nanocellulose and pulp bleaching.
