{"id":763,"date":"2018-03-09T13:16:30","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T18:16:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/pagefarm\/?p=763"},"modified":"2026-01-08T13:47:52","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T18:47:52","slug":"https-umaine-edu-pagefarm-ye-olde-holiday-shoppe-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/pagefarm\/2018\/03\/09\/https-umaine-edu-pagefarm-ye-olde-holiday-shoppe-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Vendor Holiday Shoppe Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"archive-title\">Holiday Shoppe Information for Vendors<\/h2>\n<p>What once began as a small fellowship of local crafters has blossomed over the years to become one of the Page Farm and Home Museum\u2019s favorite events:\u00a0 the annual Ye Olde Holiday Shoppe.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Page Museum transforms into a two-story craft fair with flair, featuring over 20 local vendors featuring products ranging from fresh cheeses and baked breads to fine jewelry, quilts, handmade rugs, paintings, and much more.<\/p>\n<p>As the fair has grown in popularity over the years, so has interest in becoming a vendor.\u00a0 Due to limited space, a few guidelines have been put in place to streamline the vendor application process:<\/p>\n<p>The event is by invitation only, with priority given to returning vendors.\u00a0 Additionally, all vendors are asked to provide products which reflect the mission of the Page Farm and Home Museum by producing a Maine-made craft that harkens back to a traditional Maine art form (or food item such as cheeses, maple sugar products, butters, breads, etc.).\u00a0 *<em>The reselling of craft items is not permitted<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in applying as a new vendor, please complete the Ye Olde Holiday Shoppe application and submit it <a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/pagefarm\/2018\/02\/12\/ye-olde-holiday-shoppe-application\/\">online here<\/a>.\u00a0 You will receive a confirmation upon receipt of your application.\u00a0 Returning vendors have until the end of day on September 15<sup>th<\/sup> of each year to RSVP their participation to the Event Coordinator.\u00a0 After such date, if space is available, new applicants will be considered and contacted via the Event Coordinator, whose final decision will be based on providing the best fit for the fair, and product diversity. *<em>New vendor applications must be received by September 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to be considered for potential inclusion in the December craft fair.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Due to limited space, we understand that we will be unable to accommodate all requests.\u00a0 Below is a list of links to reputable craft organizations and venues that may serve as an alternative option for new vendors seeking the opportunity to share their products should the Page Museum be unable to accommodate you.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mainecrafts.org\/\">The Maine Crafters Association<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unitedmainecraftsmen.com\/\">United Maine Craftsmen<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mainecraftsguild.com\/\">Maine Crafts Guild<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsandcraftshows-usa.com\/Maine.shtml\">Maine Arts and Craft Shows<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/pagefarm\/2018\/02\/12\/ye-olde-holiday-shoppe-application\/\">Ye Olde Holiday Shoppe Vendor Application<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Holiday Shoppe Information for Vendors What once began as a small fellowship of local crafters has blossomed over the years to become one of the Page Farm and Home Museum\u2019s favorite events:\u00a0 the annual Ye Olde Holiday Shoppe.
