{"id":4064,"date":"2022-01-24T08:57:48","date_gmt":"2022-01-24T13:57:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/oira\/?p=4064"},"modified":"2022-01-24T13:25:00","modified_gmt":"2022-01-24T18:25:00","slug":"assessment-mini-grant-awardees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/oira\/assessment-mini-grant-awardees\/","title":{"rendered":"Assessment Mini-Grant Awardees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Below is a brief description of each awardee\u2019s assessment project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jane Puhlman, Communication Sciences and Disorders:\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CSD will be reorganizing their program assessment process and exploring the use of Brightspace for collecting and managing program assessment data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lynn Atkins, School of Biology and Ecology:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">SBE will be developing curriculum maps for each of the three disciplines in the school as well as developing rubrics to determine program effectiveness for each of the learning outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">John Mascetta, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Advising Center:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The CLAS Advising Center will be doing a comprehensive assessment of non-major first year seminars offered through CLAS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kate Ruskin, Ecology and Environmental Sciences Program:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kate will be creating a data entry and information-sharing portal for the assessment data gathered each year by the Ecology and Environmental Sciences (EES) program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Learn more about the Assessment Mini-Grant Initiative <a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/oira\/assessment\/current-assessment-activities\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Below is a brief description of each awardee\u2019s assessment project.\u00a0 Jane Puhlman, Communication Sciences and Disorders:\u00a0 CSD will be reorganizing their program assessment process and exploring the use of Brightspace for collecting and managing program assessment data.
