BDN reports on UMaine’s Human-Centered Technology Design B.S. launching in fall 2023

The Bangor Daily News reported that the University of Maine School of Computing and Information Sciences will launch a new bachelor of science in Human-Centered Technology Design program in the fall 2023 semester, after the degree program was approved at the Jan. 30 meeting of the University of Maine System Board of Trustees. Human-Centered Technology Design, or HCTD, focuses on the design and development of digital technology with a grounding on the needs and capabilities of the humans who will use it, bringing together elements from new media, computer science, spatial computing, psychology, communications and innovation engineering.
