Alumna Kelsey Stoyanova to keynote UMaine Student Symposium

University of Maine alumna Kelsey Stoyanova, Maine’s 2022 Teacher of the Year, will keynote the annual UMaine Student Symposium (UMSS), a celebration of student research and creative work, April 14 at the Collins Center for the Arts. 

Stoyanova’s UMSS23 address will have two main themes: “Voice, choice and advocacy: What can YOU do to make a change utilizing the skills and passion you already have?” and “How can stakeholders utilize their expertise in their fields to help grow and shape the future leaders of Maine?” 

Stoyanova is an 8th grade language arts teacher at Reeds Brook Middle School in Hampden.
