BDN highlights UMaine art students creating materials for edible landscape project
The Bangor Daily News highlighted University of Maine art students creating outreach materials for a project to introduce native berry, nut, seed and fruit-producing plants to Bangor Land Trust preserves. Students are crafting signage, lesson plans and illustrations about the edible plants being introduced to the preserves. The outreach effort is a collaboration between the trust, the Maine Humanities Council and the McGillicuddy Humanities Center at UMaine.
