WQCB includes UMaine in list of locations in ‘Stephen King’s Maine’
WQCB (Q106.5 in Brewer) included the University of Maine in a report titled “25 Actual Locations of Stephen King’s Maine.” The report noted that King graduated from UMaine in 1970 with a bachelor’s degree in English. It also highlighted the The Stephen E. King Chair in Literature, which aims to advance excellence in the creation, study and appreciation of literature and the humanities by recruiting a top scholar and supporting the creation of learning opportunities and activities that advance creative writing, literature and the humanities.
