BDN publishes Sporer’s op-ed about consequences of far-right extremism
The Bangor Daily News published an op-ed from Karyn Sporer, an assistant professor of sociology at the University of Maine, titled “Ignoring violence of far-right extremists has serious consequences for Maine and the nation.” Sporer serves as a principal investigator for the Department of Homeland Security’s National Counterterrorism, Innovation, Technology and Education Center and is a member of the Scholars Strategy Network, which brings together scholars across the country to address public challenges and their policy implications.
