AGDaily shares UMaine commercial produce washes findings

AGDaily advanced a study of commercial produce washes conducted by University of Maine researchers in an article titled “Multilevel marketing companies use social media to market food scams.” Researchers from the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition discovered that distilled water is equally or more effective at removing pesticides and microbes from produce as three popular commercial produce washing products: Fit, Ozone Water Purifier XT-301 and J0-4 Multi-Functional Food Sterilizer.
