Media report on Waring, Wood study of culture-driven evolution

MirageScience Daily, Phys.org, the Penobscot Bay Pilot shared a University of Maine news release highlighting a study by Tim Waring and Zach Wood which suggests that culture helps humans overcome challenges better and faster than genetics. Waring is an associate professor of social-ecological systems modeling at UMaine and Wood is a postdoctoral research associate with the School of Biology and Ecology. Their findings were published in a review article in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B, Biological Sciences.
