Maine Policy Review now indexed in DOAJ
Maine Policy Review, published by the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at the University of Maine, is now being indexed in The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
DOAJ is a renowned community-driven, open-access online directory that has indexed more than 16,000 journals covering science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities. The directory includes journals from 125 countries published in 80 different languages.
According to its website, “DOAJ’s mission is to increase the visibility, accessibility, reputation, usage and impact of quality, peer-reviewed, open access scholarly research journals globally, regardless of discipline, geography or language.”
MPR’s online articles have already been downloaded more than 55,000 times per year by readers from around the world. Inclusion in DOAJ will raise MPR’s profile as a scholarly journal and have the following benefits for MPR and its authors:
