Bangor Daily promotes domestic violence intervention training
The Bangor Daily News advanced a two-day online training program for social workers, substance abuse counselors, clergy, police officers and first responders to become certified in intimate partner violence training. “Intimate Partner/Domestic Violence Intervention for Mental Health Professionals Certification Program,” offered by the University of Maine Hutchinson Center, is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. June 17 and 18.
